The Yukon's many layers of history and beauty are very much a part of her persona. She and her husband raised their three children in the mining town of Elsa, which overlooks the majestic Mount Haldane and the incredible beauty of the McQuesten Valley.
Gloria taught the art of Ceramics for approximately twenty years, beginning in Elsa, and continuing after she and her family moved to Whitehorse, where she owned and operated Gloria's Ceramics until 1995.
The Yukon landscape images that are so much a part of her life are the inspiration for her painting.
Gloria created the 2013 Yukon "Run for Mom" Poster image, and her work is currently available at her home studio as well as at Arts Underground Gallery.
